@hollie Your post reminded me just how lucky I am to be able to arithmetic without too much difficulty. I often see numbers as patterns, which made it easy to spot anomalies in a businesses accounts when I worked as a tax consultant.

@mroutley So far I’ve only read one chapter. Looks as though I’m going to do it a chapter a day. I’ve enjoyed the first chapter. I’ve found Oliver Burkeman to be saying many things that make sense to me, e.g. 4000 Weeks!

@ericgregorich I found this book to be engrossing and it rekindled my use of a notebook. In Austin Kleon’s recent newsletter he mentioned that he was reading the book and came across a page from one of his diaries that he’d given the author permission to use, and forgotten about. I suggest you move it to the top of your to be read pile.🙂

@viticci The disappointment of my day is finding that Apple Intelligence isn’t available in the UK 😳 I was looking forward to using all those extra facilities - not really, but some of the things I was reading about earlier made it seem like a good idea to update the OS.
