I’ve just rec’d a poll card for the local elections in May. Usually there are 5 or 6 candidates but only 2 or 3 will have been around canvassing or even just left a leaflet setting out their stall. A shame as it makes it hard to decide who to vote for. Is it like this everywhere?

Funny how, although I’m semi-retired, I still read books on productivity. I’ve recently read 4000 Weeks: Time Management for Mortals by Oliver Burkeman. The message: choose what you do carefully, you’ve only a finite amount of time.

Last Six Nations Rugby this weekend: France beat England 25-13. A hard fought match. The pundits said it was England’s best performance of the competition. The win by France means they have won the Grand Slam. Ireland won the Triple Crown. πŸ‰
