I’ve just rec’d a poll card for the local elections in May. Usually there are 5 or 6 candidates but only 2 or 3 will have been around canvassing or even just left a leaflet setting out their stall. A shame as it makes it hard to decide who to vote for. Is it like this everywhere?

Funny how, although I’m semi-retired, I still read books on productivity. I’ve recently read 4000 Weeks: Time Management for Mortals by Oliver Burkeman. The message: choose what you do carefully, you’ve only a finite amount of time.

Last Six Nations Rugby this weekend: France beat England 25-13. A hard fought match. The pundits said it was England’s best performance of the competition. The win by France means they have won the Grand Slam. Ireland won the Triple Crown. 🏉
